Research protoypes, software and platforms day at IP Paris (Computer Science, Data and Artificial Intelligence Department)
The IDIA-CSAI department is pleased to organize october 19th at Telecom the first edition of the "prototype, software and platforms day" day. This event is dedicated to the presentation of platforms, software and research prototypes developped bymembers of the department (common works with people outside the department are also welcomed). The objectives are to exchange around the best practices for development and dissemination of prototypes, to share interesting tools and research prototypes, to stimulate collaborations inside the department and make our respective platforms known, and to create users communities.
Three types of productions can be presented:
platforms, which are instruments or installations (hardware and software) open to other researchers and usable through reservations;
software (open source or proprietary), which are mature developments open to other researchers either for reuse or for improvements;
research prototypes, which are in progress developments, open to other researchers to share ideas and stimulate collaborations.
The event is organized in two parts:
a plenary session (amphi Thevenin) where all productions will have a 3 mn slot to present (oral presentation or video);
a demo session where each production will have a stand.
a description of the production and, if available, of the proposed demo; and
the requirements necessary for the demonstrating the production during the demo session (e.g., number of tables, poster stands, other special requirements).
The organizing committee will send a confirmation of acceptance for presentation in a short time after the submission.
